Position: Fundraising Manager
Responsible To: Executive Director
Office / Location: Alexei Mateevici street no. 46, Chisinau, Moldova
HOSPICE Angelus is looking for an innovative and dynamic individual in order to fill the Fundraising Manager position within the organization. This is a fascinating opportunity to develop your fundraising and event management skills in the NGO domain as well as to actively and positively contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of terminally ill people in the Republic of Moldova.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the Fundraising team by developing and implementing the fundraising strategy of the organization;
- Develop and implement an effective fundraising strategy, in line with the Organization’s five year plan;
- Design and implement events together with the Fundraising team;
- Lead on new initiatives including major donors, corporate donors and regular giving;
- Maintain fundraising base and build on existing relationships with donors, volunteers, and funders;
- Continuously improve the effectiveness of existing fundraising operations;
- Positively contribute to the management team and the effective running of the charity;
- Contribute to the overall running of the charity as an active member of the management team;
- Communicate with the mass media to promote the organization and events;
- Developing individual relationships with major donors and community fundraisers;
- Develop strategic planning to increase awareness of the organization and to secure new funding and support with companies, NGO’s, grant-giving bodies and individuals;
- Promote the work and activities of the organization in Moldova and beyond;
- Create a strong presence at and ensure smooth delivery of all events;
- Other duties as required by the Executive Director.
Qualification and Experience:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent;
- Experience in management 2-5 years;
- Experience of managing more than 2 people;
- Experience of working in a fundraising environment / or similar;
- Experience of developing and delivering fundraising strategies / or similar.

Pay

HOSPICE Angelus is the main provider of palliative care services dedicated to children and adults that suffer of cancer or other life-limiting illnesses. Since has been founded, 15 years ago, the charity estimates around 15.000 beneficiaries.
Deadline for application: 10th October, 5pm local hour

Duration of contract: 1 year with possibility of extension. Probation period of 2 months
